I am Gibson Jake C. Canama hailing from Poblacion, Liloan Cebu. Currently, I am taking up Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of San Carlos in Cebu City, Philippines. I consider myself as a goal-driven, passionate type of person who desires to explore and expand knowledge whenever possible. I studied in Sotero B. Cabahug FORUM Literacy and have graduated from pre-elementary to senior high school at that institution. I have been a competitor in national events, participated in international conferences, handled organizations in college, and currently working for my first published research work along with my fellow colleagues at the Department of Chemical Engineering in USC.

I have always been curios on process and manufacture of products that we consume everyday. This was probably why I pushed myself to be a chemical engineer. However, the road to profession was no easy path, having to trudge a lot of obstacles and challenges. Despite such, the grit to thrive through fire is definitely a worthy battle against myself.
